Winner of iPad 2 selected from 2011 Benchmarking Study of Canadian Architectural Practices

Earlier this year, Canadian Architect and Architecture Canada | RAIC launched the 2011 edition of the Benchmarking Study of Canadian Architectural Practices, a significant research initiative that will be of benefit to architectural practices across the country. To encourage participation, all respondents who completed their survey by October 21, 2011 were entered into a draw for an iPad 2. From all of the participants who registered, Wayne Bissky, BA, C.Ed, MArch, MRAIC, MAIBC, principal of Bissky Architecture & Urban Design Inc. in Maple Ridge, British Columbia was selected.

Canadian Architect and Architecture Canada retained the services of Bramm Research who are managing all aspects of data collection and tabulation. Answers to the questions in this comprehensive survey are completely confidential, and results will only be shown in an aggregated format.

A detailed report of the amalgamated and analyzed results of the survey will be made available in January 2012 to architectural firms across Canada for a fee of $289 + HST. This report will allow individual practices to compare themselves with other firms in their area and across the country.

As a way of thanking all firms that complete this survey, a significant $200 cost savings is being offered, making the report available to participants for $89 + HST.
