October 1, 2013 is the deadline for the following grant and prize application submissions.
Assistance for the Promotion of Architecture (organizations): Grants for galleries, publishers and event organizers to produce books, exhibitions, films and events on contemporary architecture. Up to $50,000 will be awarded. The application deadline is October 1, 2013.
Travel Grants (architecture professionals): Grants for architecture professionals to attend public presentations of one’s work, or research for an article or exhibition. $500 to $2,500 will be awarded, and there are five deadlines annually.
Prix de Rome for Emerging Practitioners (recent graduate in architecture): The prize awarded to a recent graduate of a Canadian school of architecture who demonstrates exceptional potential in contemporary architectural design. The recipient will travel to broaden his or her knowledge and do an internship at a firm of his or her choice. The nomination deadline is October 1, 2013.
