TSA / Hot Docs Architecture Film Series: Grandeur & Decay

Presented by the Toronto Society of Architects and Hot Docs, Oppositions: Architecture on Film is a monthly series at the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema in Toronto offers insights into the role of design in the built environment, by presenting pairings of films that have opposing themes related to issues of design and cultural development. Each film in the series will be followed by a brief discussion from directors, practitioners, academics and activists, and will be moderated by the Toronto Society of Architects.

On Thursday, March 28th, the pairing features the films The Pruitt-Igoe Myth and Utopia London, focusing on the utopic aspirations of cities brought about by the promise of perfectibility of Modernism during the first half of the 20th century. The Pruitt-Igoe Myth begins at 6:45pm, followed by Utopia London at 9:30pm.

See both films and save! Tickets are $11 per film, or $15 for both films ($12 for Bloor Hot Docs Cinema members).
