Tour de Toronto Bike Tour
Join ULI Toronto for a 20-kilometre bike tour of new developments and key points of interest in and around downtown Toronto. The event runs from 8:30am to 2:30pm on Sunday, May 25, 2014.
The city of Toronto is dynamic. There are constantly new and exciting buildings and places being developed and incorporated into the city-fabric. Biking the city is a great way to experience and learn about these new developments. At various stops along the tour you’ll find industry experts eager to share their knowledge and tell the stories related to planning, developing and building these places. In addition to learning about the city you’ll also be participating in an activity that contributes to your overall health and well-being. Cycling is a sustainable form of transportation, and your participation will help to promote cycling in Toronto. Join the Tour de Toronto on May 25th and “see the sites from the saddle.”
The starting point is George Brown College’s Waterfront Campus, located at 51 Dockside Drive.
Registration takes place from 8:30am to 9:30am, followed by the bike tour until 1:00pm, at which time a waterfront lunch will be enjoyed at Against the Grain Urban Tavern, located in the Corus Quay building.
The cost is $35 for ULI Members and $50 for non-members. All prices in US dollars. The last day to register is May 23, 2014. Bikes will not be provided, so please bring your own bike. The tour takes place rain or shine.
