Toronto’s Brydone honoured by U.S. interior designers

On March 06, Eleanor Brydone was honoured at the American Society of Interior Designers annual conference in Savannah, Georgia. Brydone, who established her firm Rice Brydone in 1971, was recognized for more than 30 years of leading interior design projects such as Toronto’s new University Health Network’s clinical services building. She maintains that “effective workplace design often costs less than traditional office space, and can result in long-term benefits including increased productivity, creativity, job satisfaction and employee retention.” She attributes her success to a focus on the key principles of light, mobility, balance and technology.
