The “FormLock” Interlocking System (May 01, 2005)

In response to demand for a more efficient and reliable building form, Amvic recently introduced a new, reversible ICF design. This form features the “FormLock” interlocking system — allowing forms to be locked easily to build a wall regardless of which direction the form is placed. The new full-length webs have duplicate rebar holders for assured strength in either direction. Contractors can easily find left and right corner forms, since corners are quickly flipped to stagger the reversing FormLock system. It saves time and money and the job is done right the first time — with no heavy lifting. The strength and integrity of the FormLock seal has been demonstrated many times on the jobsite — where no leakage or form separation has occurred during the concrete pour.
