Scene: BEAT Cross-Pollination Party, November 8, 2022
Building Equality in Architecture Toronto (BEAT)‘s Cross-Pollination Party 2.0, held at the Herman Miller showroom, marks one of the organization’s first large-scale in-person events since 2019. Guests were encouraged to bring a non-architect/non-designer guest to “cross-pollinate” with BEAT members and other designers for an evening of food and socializing.
BEAT is a volunteer-run organization made up of architects, designers, leaders, and entrepreneurs creating opportunities for community-building, advocacy, networking, and mentorship. The organization is founded on the belief that empowering women in the design community improves and enriches the practice of architecture, the quality of the built environment, and ultimately, the human experience.
Special thanks to BEAT’s sponsors and to venue host and bar sponsor MillerKnoll.
