Ryerson University’s Department of Architectural Science presents its fall lecture schedule

Ryerson University’s Department of Architectural Science has announced ifs Fall 2012 lecture schedule entitled “Matter” – which features the following speakers.

September 20, 2012:  Architect and Associate Professor Colin Cathcart of Kiss + Cathcart Architects of Brooklyn, New York, “productive architecture” specialists.

October 4, 2012:  Colin Neufeld of 5468796 Architecture in Winnipeg, a firm representing Canada at the 2012 Venice Biennale.

October 18. 2012:  Architect and Professor Heribert Gies of BDA, Mainz and the Fachhochschule Frankfurt.

November 8, 2012:  Professor and award-winning Architect Sarah Wigglesworth of Sarah Wigglesworth Architects in London, UK.

November 21, 2012:  Michael Green of Michael Green Architecture Inc. in Vancouver (formerly of McFarlane | Green | Biggar Architects).

All lectures take place at 6:30pm in the Pit in the Department of Architectural Science building, located at 325 Church Street in Toronto.

Michael Green comes courtesy of Wood Works – Project of the Canadian Wood Council and will be speaking on high-rise wood construction. Colin Neufeld is presented courtesy of Thames Valley Brick & Tile.
