ROMbus: Hamilton – Industry, Architecture & Art – Part 1
Hamilton is called “Steel Town” but it is so much more. On Wednesday, November 5, 2014, discover Hamilton from its early roots through industry, architecture and art. The Royal Ontario Museum’s ROMbus program will take participants to visit some of the iconic places that started the growth of Hamilton such as the Steam Technology Museum, and go into some of the architectural gems still standing today. The tour will finish off with a visit to one of the oldest public art galleries in Canada to view its latest exhibition. All this will be done with the accompaniment of a knowledgeable resource person. Lunch will take place in a new restaurant along the water.
A 15% discount per person is offered if this trip Hamilton – Industry, Architecture & Art – Part 1 is combined with Historical Hamilton Dressed up for the Season, taking place on Wednesday, December 3, 2014.
