RAIC continuing education program seeks subject matter experts
The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) is embarking on an ambitious continuing education program in 2019. The RAIC has issued a call for instructors and subject matter experts (SME) for the following RAIC continuing education offerings (2019):
Cross-country Workshops
Project Management for Architects – Montreal, Victoria, Winnipeg, Fredericton, and Toronto
Contracts – A Practical Approach (RAIC Documents Six and Nine, CCDC2, CCDC5a+b, CCDC15, CCDC30) – Locations TBD
Leaderships Skills for Architects – Locations TBD
Requirements
The RAIC is looking for SMEs to develop course content and instructors to deliver courses across the country. You may express interest in for both positions, or either of the above, as it is not necessarily for the role to be shared by one individual. All content created will remain the property of the RAIC.
Individuals with experience in curriculum development, face-to-face and/or online teaching, adult education, and professional development are strong preferred. They should also have practical experience in the area of study and in architecture in general. Bilingualism is an asset.

To apply, please submit a copy of your CV (maximum of two pages), highlighting your experiences as an educator, content developer, and/or facilitator, along with a letter of interest (maximum of one page) to: Kristen Gagnon, Program Officer (kgagnon@raic.org). Applications for instructors and subject matter experts are due by November 2, 2018.
