Public Space Rules: Exploring Connected Hyper-Density in the Church Street Development
Running from March 16 to April 10, 2015, this exhibition at Ryerson University’s Paul H. Cocker Gallery is produced by Perkins+Will, and showcases the artifacts of the consultation and design process for Ryerson University’s Church Street Development (CSD) Project. The mixed-use building will house the Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing, the School of Nutrition, the School of Occupational & Public Health and the Midwifery Education Program from the Faculty of Community Services, as well as a student residence on the site located at 300 Dundas Street. The display is intended to give the audience a glimpse into a highly iterative design process and the variety of discussions between the architects and the project stakeholders—university administrators, representatives from the city, students and residents of the Church and Dundas area.
The reception for this exhibition takes place at 6:30pm on Thursday, March 19, 2015 in the Paul H. Cocker Gallery located at 325 Church Street in Toronto.
