Building and safety codes online. The International Code Council has launched the eCodes Online Subscription Service. allows subscribers to download an array of codes in Adobe eBook Reader format. Civil engineering software. A free computer program developed by a Johns Hopkins civil engineering researcher allows designers of thin-walled structures, including buildings and bridges, to test their ability and safety before a single beam is put into place. Commercial flooring.
