Premier’s Design Awards of Excellence
Winners of the 2009 Premier’s Design Awards of Excellence in Saskatchewan were announced during Design Week, held in the last week of October in Saskatoon. The city welcomed several dynamic guest lecturers during the speaker series, which also included a two-day Building Saskatchewan Green conference. The week wrapped up with the Premier’s Design Awards gala held at one of the award-winning projects, the zu office, which occupies a former warehouse space in downtown Saskatoon.
The seven categories of the Premier’s Design Awards are: Architecture, Community Planning, Interior Design, Landscape Design, Engineering, Graphic Design, and Collaborative – made up of three or more disciplines. This year, no entries were submitted in the Engineering category.
