Pecha-Kucha Night at Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre

The Japanese term for the sound of “chit chat” is also the name for this exciting fast-paced presentation format. With just seven minutes each, eight presenters from the worlds of architecture, landscape design, and urban planning will showcase their ideas on the partnership between architects/designers and clients.

 

Presenters include Paul Raff of Paul Raff Studio, Kathryn Walter of FELT Studio, Alissa North of North Design Office, Brian Rudy of Moriyama & Teshima Architects, Brent Cordner of luflic, Davide Tonizzo of Design D, Philip Hastings of Gow Hastings Architects Inc., and Tania Bortolotto of BORTOLOTTO architecture – interior design.

 

Pecha-Kucha takes place one night only, from 8:00pm to 9:30pm on Friday, September 24, 2010, during the opening reception for the Building Partners exhibition, at the Marilyn Brewer Community Space in York Quay Centre, located at 235 Queens Quay West in Toronto.
