Nominations open for three RAIC Board of Directors positions
The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) has announced that nominations are now open for three positions on the organization’s Board of Directors. RAIC members are hereby invited to nominate candidates to stand for election for the positions of Regional Director for Ontario North, East and Nunavut, British Columbia/Yukon, and Québec. The term of office is three years, beginning January 1, 2019.

The Board of Directors of RAIC is composed as follows: President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Immediate Past President, seven (7) Regional Directors elected from the various geographic regions, one (1) Director representing Interns and Intern Architects, as well as the Chancellor of the College of Fellows and the Chair or designate of the Council of Canadian University Schools of Architecture.
An individual is elected as a Regional Director to represent the general interests of the membership in advancing the RAIC mandate. The responsibilities of Regional Directors are listed here. They include attending RAIC Board meetings, advancing and committing to the RAIC mission and setting the Institute’s direction and priorities.
