Green Roofs for Healthy Cities established the Green Roof Awards of Excellence in 2003 to recognize green roof projects which exhibit extraordinary leadership in integrated design and implementation. The awards also increase general awareness of green roof infrastructure and its associated public and private benefits, while recognizing the valuable contributions of green roof design professionals. In addition to this program, there is a new Award for Excellence in Green Roof Research, and a new nomination process for the Green Roof Civic Award of Excellence.
The deadline to submit for the 2006 Green Roof Awards of Excellence is February 15, 2006; and for both the 2006 Green Roof Civic Award of Excellence and the 2006 Green Roof Research Award of Excellence, the deadline is February 28, 2006. Click here to download the nmination forms for these awards.
