Networked Cultures and Relational Architecture

This lecture and discussion with ThinkArchitecture will take place at 5:00pm on Saturday, March 18 at the Toronto Free Gallery located at 660 Queen Street East in Toronto.

ThinkArchitecture is a team of architects and cultural theorists who live and work in London and Vienna, led by directors Peter Mrtenbck and Helge Mooshammer. In the past ten years, ThinkArchitecture has developed and carried out a vast range of interdisciplinary art/architecture projects in the urban realm, including work in London’s Borough of Southwark (Authorising Space), a derelict factory site in Vienna (7 Days in Paradise), the Brooklyn Bridge anchorage in New York (CruiseScapes) and various other urban sites. Working with communities on site, ThinkArchitecture generates dialogues through workshops, exhibitions and public debates, and produces makeshift architectural structures for temporary inhabitation.
