In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the McEwen School of Architecture, which welcomed its inaugural class in September 2013, the school has planned a series of special events.

Celebrations will kick off on September 8, 2023, with a lecture by Janna Levitt from LGA Architectural Partners, the lead designer of the School’s building in downtown Sudbury. This lecture will take place in the Lecture Hall at 5:30 p.m. and will delve into the design of the school and other educational structures. A panel discussion will follow.

On September 9, the celebrations will continue in the Crit Pit and Atrium at 6:00 p.m. The evening will be filled with even more festivities including a community party at the school with music, speeches and food.

The McEwen School of Architecture is located at 85 Elm St. in Sudbury, Ont. Those who are interested in attending the anniversary celebrations are encouraged to send an email to rsvparchitecture@laurentian.ca.
