Life to Buildings student design challenge announced
Indoor Nature Design Inc. (INDI), a not-for profit design-house that applies a holistic sustainable design approach to indoor environments, is calling for submissions for its Life to Buildings™ Design Challenge. This competition tasks post-secondary students with producing unique and innovative designs that integrate nature with an indoor space using INDI’s holistic design framework.
By drawing attention to the concepts of biophilic and biomimetic Design, INDI hopes to inspire a generation to embrace a path to sustainable development.
The Design Challenge offers students an opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills to finding real solutions to real-world design problems. $5000 in prizes are being awarded to the winners. Registration is now open, and the submission deadline is March 31, 2016.
