July 27 early bird deadline for Architecture MasterPrize Design Awards
The Architecture MasterPrize, formerly known as the AAP Architecture Prize has kicked off its 2018 annual architectural design award program with a call to visionary architects and designers from around the world, both professional and amateur, to enter their best projects and designs for consideration for this prestigious award. Entries can be submitted as conceptual designs, in progress, or as projects completed within the past 5 years.
The AAP was originally conceived with the core mission to advance the appreciation of quality architectural design worldwide, so with the desire that the name should reflect the true global vision of the award — to bring together the best and brightest in architectural design from all corners of the world and shine a spotlight on the greatest achievements – AAP has now been reborn as Architecture MasterPrize. The new name represents the mastery, excellence, creativity and innovation exhibited in all the visionary works that have been entered to win this prize.

Now in its third year, Architecture MasterPrize is rapidly becoming one of the most respected architectural awards, setting a new benchmark for excellence in the architectural and design professions globally.
2017 Winners:
- Architectural Design of the Year: Aedas / Hengqin International Financial Center
- Interior Design of the Year: Neri&hu Design and Research Office / The Attic — Flamingo Shanghai Office
- Landscape Design of the Year: PWP Landscape Architecture / Barangaroo Reserve
Entries to the program are peer-reviewed and anonymously judged by an influential jury panel of experienced academics and established design industry professionals whose mandate is to vote on the very best architectural designs from all around the world. Each of these experts bring a wealth of knowledge and understanding to the jury panel, and with their combined insight and votes, the final winners in each category will be selected.
The extended early-bird deadline for submissions is July 27, 2018. Entries submitted by this date are eligible for discounted submission fees.
The Architecture MasterPrize is awarded for single projects, submitted into 41 categories, falling under three main disciplines: Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Landscape Architecture.
The winners of the “Design of the Year” award will have their work showcased to a worldwide audience, receive the MasterPrize trophy, and enjoy extensive publicity in addition to many other benefits.
