Green Infrastructure Design Charrette part of upcoming Grey to Green Conference

Green Roofs for Healthy Cities is pleased to announce the Green Infrastructure Design Charrette: Making the Business Case for Green Infrastructure Investment in Your Community, a one-of-a-kind event that is taking place as part of the Grey to Green Conference on August 26th at the Eaton Chelsea Hotel in Toronto. The George Cedric Metcalf Charitable Foundation has funded this multi-city research and community engagement initiative.

“We are excited to be focusing on the redesign of sites in the multiple cities of Brampton, Mississauga and Toronto,” said Steven Peck, GRP, HASLA, Founder and President of Green Roofs for Healthy Cities and Chair, Green Infrastructure Ontario Coalition.

Join leading experts from a wide variety of disciplines to share knowledge and expertise and to develop concept plans for green infrastructure development in Southern Ontario. This one-day event is a unique opportunity to work with some of the top professionals in the green building field to lay a solid foundation for a shift from grey to green, one that will bring far greater public and private rewards than conventional approaches. By coupling a vision with the economics, the Green Infrastructure Design Charrette makes a unique contribution to the transformation to healthier, more resilient and sustainable communities.

The charrette is approved for 8 PDHs by LA CES; 8 CEHs by AIA CES; 8 CEHs by RCI; 5 CEUs by APLD; and 2 CEUs for GRPs by GRHC.

Space is very limited, so sign up today.
