Gow Hastings Architects win 2005 ARIDO Award of Excellence
Gow Hastings Architects (CA, September 2005) won an Award of Merit for their Culinary Arts Teaching Facility at the Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning.
The architectural and interior design firm won in the category of Public & Institutional Spaces, judged by a panel of industry professionals who selected winning projects that had been evaluated according to ARIDO’s registered interior design standards. Criteria included objectives and results of the projects, strategies employed, tactical execution and the overall creativity of each entry.
Held at the National Trade Centre on September 22, 2005, the Awards are considered the heart of IIDEX/NeoCon Canada, the country’s largest exposition and conference for the design, management and construction of the built environment. Twenty-eight exceptional designs were celebrated by many of the province’s leading industry players in this annual event that recognizes creativity and professional achievement in Ontario’s interior design community.
