Wenders in the Cities

Presented by the Goethe-Institut Toronto in collaboration with the Wim Wenders Foundation Düsseldorf, the Goethe-Institut introduces exclusive material from the Wim Wenders archive, including Wenders in the Cities, a debut show of eight original film posters as well as a variety of promotional and press material in German, English, French and Japanese to illustrate and illuminate Wenders’ broad international practice and the films in their “Wenders in the Cities” series. This is the first time originals from the Wim Wenders Archive are being exhibited publicly. The exhibition takes place at the Goethe-Institut Toronto, located on the second floor of the north tower at 100 University Avenue in Toronto. Admission is free. This exhibition accompanies the Goethe-Institut’s six-part Wenders city film retrospective, taking place at the TIFF Bell Lightbox.
