Toronto Global Forum

September 12 - September 14, 2016
100 Front Street West, Toronto, Ontario

World business and political leaders, including International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Christine Lagarde, will gather in Toronto from September 12-14 to discuss opportunities for economic development in an era of economic, social and political evolution.  This is the 10th anniversary edition of the International Economic Forum of the Americas’ (IEFA), Toronto Global Forum. Under the theme “Leading in Uncertain Times,” the forum comes as the world faces rapid technological change, high economic and financial volatility, and rising geopolitical and environmental instability.

The Toronto Global Forum, presented by Cogeco Peer 1, will bring together more than 130 speakers and 2,600 delegates representing more than 40 countries, to discuss how to better respond to today’s most pressing economic issues.

Among the attendees will be many leading figures from the business world, heads of state, and numerous representatives of the federal and provincial governments, international organizations, and civil society. These senior executives will address important issues such as economic growth, disruptive technologies, infrastructure development, geopolitics and energy, the new world energy map, changing global trade routes, and the new era of manufacturing.
