Short Storeys: What is Heritage?

November 12, 2016
70 Canuck Ave, Toronto, Ontario

Join us on November 12th for the first of a four-part introductory series on how we create, define, and protect our heritage.

An architect, an environmental historian, a community educator, an archaeologist, an actor and writer, and a cultural programmer. Each has five minutes to describe an element of Toronto’s heritage that resonates with them. From the tiniest honeybee to the tallest tower – what is heritage?

Speakers include: Michael Amos, author, The Other Side of the Fence; Jennifer Bonnell, York University; Gracia Dyer Jalea, Toronto Ward Museum; Peter Popkin, Golder Associates; Michael Etherington, Native Canadian Centre of Toronto; Ya’el Santopinto, ERA Architects

The event is free, but we ask that you pre-register.
