Prof. Benjamin Fortna, University of Arizona – author of Imperial Classroom (2002) and Learning to Read in the late Ottoman Empire and the Early Turkish Republic (2010).

You are cordially invited to “School Time! Spatial and Temporal Dimensions of Educational Globalization” organized by Prof. Ipek Türeli (School of Architecture) and Prof. Tassos Anastassiadis (Department of History) at McGill University. 

“School Time!” is dedicated to new research on the history of educational globalization, school buildings and campus planning, with a focus on the Mediterranean region, from the 1850s to the present.
