Event Details

After a decade of documenting the home-grown architecture of ice fishing huts that take shape each winter on Canada’s waterways, Toronto photographer Richard Johnson has wandered closer to home, toward the visible fabric of urban life. Allegro explores the chaotic and oftentimes disorientating reflections of curtain walls, at a time when cities are becoming dense forests of glass and steel. Jeté captures fragments of the Eiffel Tower – the original icon of modernist architecture – as seen in the mirrored surface of YSL’s runway pavilion during Paris Fashion Week.
