360 Geary Ave, Toronto
Ever partied in a room full of paper?
PULP : paper art party is returning to Davenport, turning Geary Lane into a blue bin playground on January 14th.
PULP: paper art party 2017 is an evening combining installation art, live music, charity, and conversation. It’s a fundraiser designed to examine the current lifecycle of paper materials (among others) and investigate alternative uses.
The environment is important, but PULP isn’t about lectures or presentations – we want people dancing, talking, playing, and creating. Inside a unique two-story space, artists will introduce guests to sustainable design through reclaimed material installations in an exciting social setting. PULP is a party that’s about more than just partying. That’s why we use the funds we raise and the expertise of our designers to support a charity in Toronto every year. This year we are donating again to Yonge Street Mission Evergreen Centre for Street Involved Youth for their Jubilee Design summer arts and employment program.
This year we are programming two acts at the event: Art Lounge and After Party.
Art Lounge will start the party at 8pm and create a relaxed atmosphere for conversation and observation.
- Two sets by Vivienne Wilder
- Short dance and fashion performances by artist Aleks Bartosik
- After Party will follow at 11:15pm. Dim the lights, let the DJs take over.
- Ebony (Jericho One)
- Wasserman (La Grotta)
Tickets are now available on the website. Cash bar, this is a 19+ event. Donate beyond the price of your ticket to increase your contribution to Yonge Street Mission Evergreen Centre for Street Involved Youth.
