PARK(ing) Day 2016
PARK(ing) Day is an annual open-source global event where citizens, artists and activists collaborate to temporarily transform metered parking spaces into “PARK(ing)” spaces – temporary public spaces. The project began in 2005 as a way to promote the need for more urban open space, to generate critical debate about the creation and allocation of public space, and to improve the overall quality of the urban realm.
