New Ways of Living: Jewish Architects in Vancouver
Curator’s Talk and Discussion Panel

Please join us on January 28th from 5 to 7pm in our 50 Water Street showroom for the launch of the Jewish Museum and Archives of BC’s new online exhibition, New Ways of Living: Jewish Architects in Vancouver, 1955-1975, chronicling Jewish involvement in the development of mid-century modern architecture and the aspirations of this movement to enhance city living and well-being in the built environment.

Chanel Blouin, the curator of the exhibition, will provide insight into the work of local Jewish architects in the post-war period and the process of developing the exhibition. A panel of architects and architectural historians including Judah Shumiatcher and Rhodri Windsor-Liscombe will join her to bring greater depth to the discussion.
