Stanford Perrott Theatre at the Alberta College of Art + Design, Calgary, Alberta
Many cities find affordability key to retaining economic diversity. And yet affordable housing can seem in short supply. If fundamental in need, is housing public infrastructure? What are the metrics that create a diverse, successful and vibrant neighbourhood?
On Thursday, October 8, 2015, join d.talks in Calgary and learn about the state of housing in the city. Panellists Joe Starkman of Knightsbridge Homes, Sarah Arthurs of Prairie Sky Cohousing, and Councillor Andre Chabot of Ward 10 will explore the role of design and policy in shaping the future of how we live.
The event takes place in the Stanford Perrott Theatre at the Alberta College of Art + Design, located at 1407 14th Avenue NW in Calgary.
Doors open 6:00pm. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for students.
