Jimenez Lai: Clouds, Rainbows & You

Jimenez Lai, leader of Bureau Spectacular and instructor at UCLA, lectures at 6:30pm at the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design at the University of Toronto. Previously, Lai lived and worked in a desert shelter at Taliesin and resided in a shipping container at Atelier Van Lieshout on the piers of Rotterdam. In 2012, Lai won the Architectural League Prize for Young Architects. His installation, White Elephant, is in the permanent collection of the Museum by Modern Art. Lai is also the winner of the inaugural Millenium BCP Lisbon Triennale D├ębut Award.
