Ecodesign for Cities and Suburbs book launch

October 01, 2015
40 Elgin Street, Ottawa, Ontario

Join us for the launch of the first book by renowned downtown Vancouver urban planner Larry Beasley and co-author Jonathan Barnett. Ecodesign for Cities and Suburbs discusses the importance of preserving the harmony between sustainable design and environmental measures, in both cities and suburbs. The authors will explain how it is possible to make suburbs into viable economic centres, and how this can be applied to Canada’s Capital Region.

Copies of the book will be for sale, and the authors will be available to sign individual copies.

This event on ecodesign for cities and suburbs is presented by the National Capital Commission (NCC) at the Capital Urbanism Lab.

The public will have the opportunity to address their comments and questions to the two authors.
