Cities of Tomorrow Student Competition and Showcase

February 02 - February 03, 2016
Daniels Spectrum, Toronto

CUI has partnered with the Large Urban Mayor’s Caucus of Ontario (LUMCO) and IBM to host the Cities of Tomorrow Student Competition and Showcase taking place at Daniels Spectrum, February 2/3, 2016.

This will be a 2-day event featuring keynote presentations on infrastructure planning and development policy in Ontario from keynote speakers, student teams and city leaders.

The Cities of Tomorrow Contest was created in August 2014 to honour former City of Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion and outgoing Chair of the Large Urban Mayor’s Caucus of Ontario.  The contest is dedicated to Hazel McCallion to recognize her contribution as a municipal leader and a champion for municipal issues.

Cities of Tomorrow is a competition to provide an opportunity for Ontario students to enter the policy making process with proposals for improving Ontario’s urban centres.
