Edmonton Firms Merge

A merger has been announced between Edmonton firms Wood O’Neill O’Neill Architects Ltd. (established in 1960) and Daryl Procinsky Architecture Ltd. (established in 1992). The new firm is to be called O’Neill O’Neill Procinsky Architects (ONPA) with a staff of 45. The O’Neill firm has designed several significant in Edmonton, including Grant MacEwan City Centre Campus and the Millard Centre for the Workers Compensation Board. They have also designed the new Emergency Department at Walter C. Mackenzie Hospital and several facilities on the University of Alberta campus. Procinsky’s firm work incorporates state of the art design and technology and includes educational facilities in Alberta and current projects in the U.S. and Mexico.
