Early-bird registration for 2014 RAIC Festival of Architecture in Winnipeg

Registration is now open for the 2014 RAIC Festival of Architecture, presented in association with the Manitoba Association of Architects. The Festival will take place from May 28-31, 2014 at the Fairmont Winnipeg Hotel, located at the corner of Portage Avenue and Main Street. Register before April 30 and qualify for the early-bird rate. Availability of courses, events and companion packages is first-come, first-served – so be sure to register soon.

The Festival of Architecture is the annual conference for architects across Canada. It focuses on architects’ contributions to the improvement of today’s world, the built environment, sustainable urban development and social commitment, as well as the importance of architecture. There will be continuing education courses, social activities, awards and the RAIC College of Fellows Convocation.

For four days, architects, interns, students and associates will gather in Winnipeg to network, discuss issues related to the practice of architecture, celebrate achievements and socialize.

The 2014 MAA/RAIC Festival of Architecture will be a celebration of the past, present and future of architecture within our prairie landscape. We have a lot to be festive about with 2014 also marking the 100th anniversary of the MAA. This centenary has many reflecting on the foundations of our community, our current period of revitalization, and boldly looking forward at how we will shape our future with this year’s Festival theme “The Next Century | Go Flat Out.”
