Design Hope Toronto to aid homeless
Design Hope Toronto is a volunteer initiative to raise funds and awareness for Dixon Hall’s Homeless, Hostels and Housing program. Based on a successful program in Dundas, Ontario, artists, architects and designers are invited to create one of a kind works of art around the theme of shelter. These pieces are then auctioned and raffled at a gala event February 10, 2006 from 7:00pm-10:00pm at Gallery 1313 at 1313A Queen Street West in Toronto.
Admission is free of charge, there will be a cash bar, and payment for auction items is by cash or cheque only. Artwork will be on display from February 8-10 from 1:00pm6:00pm at Gallery 1313.
Design Hope Toronto also seeks corporate donations to help out with Dixon Hall’s vital programs. This is a volunteer initiative supported by in-kind donations, all funds raised go directly to Dixon Hall.
