Design Exchange Summer Camps to begin next month
Toronto’s Design Exchange (DX) has announced the return of its fantastic DX Summer Camps program. All camps take place at the DX, located at 234 Bay Street conveniently located within easy access of the TTC.
As Canada’s design museum, the DX offers camps that are creative and fun, and all are based on design themes. This summer’s themes include: Museum Design, Comic Book Design, Fashion Design (2 sessions), Toy Design, Architecture, Furniture Design, and Graphic Design/Print Advertising.
Camps will run from July 4th until August 26th. Camps are open to children ages 7 years to 15 years, and will take place daily from 9:00am to 4:30pm. Registration fees are $290 per week ($275 for DX Members). Camps are taught by art and design educators and visiting design professionals. This year the DX Summer Camps are supported in part by Keilhauer, one of Canada’s leading furniture manufacturers. Teknion Furniture Systems is offering scholarships for several children.
