Deadline nears for RAIC Regional Director for Ontario Southwest

A call for nominations has been announced to elect a Ontario Southwest Regional Director for the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC). The deadline is October 31, 2013.

An individual is elected as a Regional Director to represent the general interests of the membership in advancing the RAIC’s mandate. The responsibilities of Regional Directors are: fostering ongoing dialogue with local members, providing an important contact point for information about RAIC and its programs; and attending Board of Directors meetings and fully participating in the Board’s strategic planning, policy development, and monitoring and evaluation work.

Terms of service will commence January 2014 for a period of three years.

Only full RAIC members in good standing are eligible to nominate and be nominated, and candidates must be residents of the region in which they are nominated. Each candidate is required to be nominated by five (5) members who must be residents in the region of the nomination.
