The Canadian Urban Institute wants to recognize the people, groups or organizations that have made a difference to the quality of our urban life and invites the public to participate in the nominations, which are open until February 01, 2005. In doing so, you become a part of the Urban Leadership Awards Program that also provides mentoring and learning opportunities in urban affairs. The awards recognize those individuals who have had a profound and lasting impact on the quality of life in their neighbourhood, and those who have contributed to the public realm through: City Renewal, City Soul, City Livability, City Initiatives, City Youth. The winners will be acknowledged at the 2nd annual Urban Leadership Awards Luncheon on May 26, 2005.
