CUI Urban Leadership Awards accepting nominations
The Canadian Urban Institute’s 10th annual Urban Leadership Awards is fast approaching. If you know an individual or organization who is improving the quality of life in your city, recognize them with a nomination today. The award ceremony will be held on June 17, 2013 in Ottawa, and the deadline for submitting a nomination is Friday, March 1, 2013.
The Urban Leadership Awards (ULA) program is an annual initiative designed to recognize those who have made significant contributions to improving the quality of life in Canada’s cities and urban regions. ULA recipients define the very nature of “leadership” and can be organizations, groups or individuals who demonstrate a calling and a vision, tenacity, creativity, energy and drive. These characteristics combined with the ability to engage others, are what distinguish ULA recipients from the mainstream.
The nomination deadline is Friday, March 1, 2013. Recognize an individual, group or organization that has made an outstanding contribution by submitting a nomination under one of the following award categories: City Soul, City Champion, Global City and Innovation, Prosperity and Renewal, and Youth.
