Cleveland City Forge

In 1864, Cleveland City Forge (CCF) was established to manufacture parts for the marine industry. By the late 1920’s, the product line was expanded to include clevises and turnbuckles. CCF made a commitment to quality in 1864. Recognizing this, ASTM in search of industry standards, worked with CCF in the early 1950’s to develop clevis and turnbuckle forging standards. CCF products consist of clevises, adjustable/ plain yokes, turnbuckles, eyenuts, eyebolts, upset to plain threaded rods, and rod ends. Projects ranged from the Boston Tunnel (Boston, MA), Jacob’s Field (Cleveland, OH), and the Vancouver Airport. For additional information visit: www.clevelandcityforge.com.
