Canadian Centre for Architecture hosts the 2006 Celebration of Architecture Ball
The 7th annual edition of this major fundraising event will be held on June 8, 2006, with a theme inspired by the current CCA exhibition Sense of the City.
An abundance of sensory delights awaits guests from the worlds of art, design, business, architecture and the built environment. Following cocktails in the Shaughnessy House, dinner will be served under an immense canopy in the CCA’s Baile Park. With music and live entertainment, the evening is sure to stir the senses and allow guests to create their own sensations, especially on the dance floor.
Guests have the opportunity to become Honourary Members of the CCA Ball through a contribution of $15,000 for a table of ten. Individual tickets for the Ball are available at the cost of $600 ($5,000 for a table of ten guests), or at the special price of $500 for Friends of the CCA. A reservation form and additional information is available on the CCA website at www.cca.qc.ca/ball2006 or by calling 514.939.7001 ext.7031.
Proceeds from the 2006 Celebration of Architecture Ball will benefit the CCA through the development of its exhibitions and collections, as well as its programs for children, students, scholars and professionals.
