Reminder: call for proposals for 2015 OAA Annual Conference

Taking place from May 5-8, 2015, the OAA Annual Conference is a four-day interdisciplinary forum that brings together Ontario architects, interns, and other allied professionals. It is comprised of continuing education sessions, panel presentations, architectural tours, and social events.

The OAA Conference is an opportunity for Ontario architects to acquire new knowledge that contributes to their expertise and general understanding. This learning is future-oriented and goes beyond immediate application; rather it attempts to facilitate the professionals’ capacity to plan and undertake new challenges.

The OAA invites you to submit a proposal to speak at the OAA Conference in the Continuing Education stream. The deadline for submissions is November 17, 2014.

Continuing Education sessions/panels should be: educational in nature (i.e., structured and designed as a learning activity with clearly stated learning objectives); current (i.e., must reflect the current status of the topic(s) addressed); factual, not misleading, and unbiased; must not endorse any specific product(s) or service(s); focused on subject matters that are of interest to Ontario Architects; based on best practices and latest research in a given field; 1.5 hours, 3 hours or 6 hours in length.
