Canstruction Toronto invites teams of engineers, architects, and designers to take part in the 21st annual Canstruction Design and Build Competition at the TD Centre.
The international design and build competition to raise awareness about the growing hunger gap features structures built entirely from canned foods within a 10’ x 10’ x 8’ space.
Last year, the creative ideas of Toronto’s participants collected 68,785 pounds of food for the Daily Bread Food Bank. This spring, teams will compete for the titles of: Best Design, Best Use of Labels, Best Meal, Structural Ingenuity and People’s Choice.
An information night for Canstruction Toronto will be held at the Design Exchange (234 Bay Street) on January 23, 2020 at 6 pm.
