Best and Worst in UK.

According to the January, 2003 edition of RIBAJ, the journal of the Royal Institute of British Architects, the best building in the UK in 2002 is the Women’s Library and Archive in London by Wright & Wright Architects. London was judged the worst city in the UK, the result of its deteriorating streets and congested tube and traffic jams whereas Manchester and Newcastle/Gateshead were held up as “shining examples of unique, vibrant and socially inclusive cities.”
