BAC-DAC announces search for directors
Becoming Architects Canada, a group of Architects and Intern Architects dedicated to supporting individuals on the path to licensure, has opened a call for new directors to join their Board.
Becoming Architects Canada, a group of Architects and Intern Architects dedicated to supporting individuals on the path to licensure, recently announced a search for Directors to join the BAC-DAC board.
“This is a great opportunity to help support fellow Becoming Architects as well as to get involved with the architectural community and make connections,” says the organization.
To apply, fill out this volunteer form (also on the organization’s “Contact” page). What you need to know:
- Deadline to apply is extended to July 30th
- Applications for positions will be forwarded to members once received with members able to vote until Aug14th, 11:59pm
- Elected directors will be announced Aug 20th (members to vote on applicants)!
- Those interested can check out the “about” page on our website to read through our bylaws
Note that director responsibilities include attending monthly meetings, attending special meetings as necessary, and carrying out tasks assigned to you. You can expect to spend a couple hours a week on work involved with the non-profit/committees, with more effort required closer to event dates.
BAC-DAC is focused on serving individuals who are: Intern Architects, Syllabus Program Participants, Foreign-Licensed Architects pursuing licensure in Canada, Foreign Architectural Degree Holders, and Recently Licensed Architects (up to 10 years post-licensure).
