Athabasca University seeks Program Director for the renewed RAIC Syllabus Program

Athabasca University is seeking a Program Director for the renewed RAIC Syllabus Program to be administered through Athabasca University.

 

This is a full-time contract position. All applications must be received before 4:00pm Mountain Standard Time on Thursday, June 24, 2010.

 

In partnership with the RAIC, Athabasca University has been engaged in renewal of the RAIC Syllabus program. During this transitional period, the position of Interim Program Director is

required to provide leadership and management services to both Athabasca University and to the RAIC Syllabus Program as the program begins its transition to Athabasca University.

 

The Interim Program Director is responsible for the effective management of the RAIC Syllabus programs and operations while exercising stewardship over its human and financial resources and its transition to the program at Athabasca University. The interim Program Director, in association with the Syllabus Registrar, is responsible for effective communications and counselling of students during the transition of the administration of the existing Syllabus

program to the renewed program at Athabasca University.

 

In addition, the interim Program Director is responsible for overseeing the development of updated courses and curriculum in consultation with Athabasca University and its Program Advisory Council.
