Artscape Salon: annual fundraiser for city-building organization Artscape
Artscape, the award-winning not-for-profit responsible for innovative arts and cultural spaces across the city, is holding its third annual Salon event on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at the Artscape Wychwood Barns, located at 601 Christie Street.
Artscape Salon will host 200 guests for a cocktail hour and dinner…with a twist. During dinner, a lineup of 20 of the city’s most exciting artists and cultural luminaries will visit tables in a speed-dating format, delivering an energizing hit of inspiration to guests, sharing their vision of how Toronto influences their art, and how their art influences Toronto. All the while, attendees will feast on food and drink from some of Toronto’s top chefs and participate in an exciting auction featuring artworks and creative experiences from artists in the Artscape community. Tickets are $100, available through www.artscapesalon.ca, where updates are posted daily.
