The ARIDO GTA Chapter has issued a call for art by designers. Submit your artwork and showcase your talents at the sixth annual Art by Designers (AxD) event! This year the gallery theme is Community, and all artwork submitted should incorporate this theme.
If you’re an active intern, registered, or retired ARIDO member, you are invited to participate in AxD 2015. All media types are accepted, including paintings, photography, sculptures and renderings. A maximum of 50 artists will be invited to exhibit their work. Each artist may submit one or two works.
Everyone is invited to create an art piece for the silent auction. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Sketch, a not-for-profit community arts initiative that helps homeless and marginalized youth experience the transformative power of the arts. By developing confidence and leadership skills, they learn to harness their power to create social and environmental change.
The AxD event takes place at 99 Sudbury Street in Toronto on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 6:00 to 10:00pm. Confirmation of participation will occur on March 27, 2015.
